A rally for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger filled The Jefferson Theater, where she encouraged voters to get to the polls and highlighting the high stakes of the Virginia election.
Spanberger was joined by former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, science educator Bill Nye, Delegate Katrina Callsen, and other local leaders. Students filled the stage as Spanberger, a UVA alumna, spoke on the importance of public service, family, and community to her campaign and approach to leadership.
Spanberger also spoke on her plans to lower costs, improve schools, strengthen the economy, and preserve fundamental rights for all Virginians as she campaigns to be the state’s next Governor.
