Last week, students gathered on the steps of Old Cabell Hall in a ‘Freeze AI Now’ walkout, calling for a pause on frontier AI development and federal regulation.
This walkout was part of a larger movement organized by Irreplaceable— a national group working to bring Americans together to voice concerns about the dangers of AI to humanity while advocating for policy and guardrails.
